With the launch of my new website and rebrand, I wanted my first blog post to be a re-introduction. I want this relaunch to re-establish, renew and rejuvenate what this platform and blog means to me.

Let’s break it down: who I am, what I do, and what this blog will be.

Hi, I’m Gabriella, but you can call me Gabby, Gab, Gabs or any other variation you can come up with. I’m a makeup artist based in my hometown of Jersey City, NJ. Born and raised baby! I love to create bold and eye-catching editorial looks, while also loving the simplicity of natural, skin focus looks to accentuate and enhance my client’s natural features. Every client is a canvas, and I’m OBSESSED with the art of makeup. I’ll be your professional makeup artist and your personal fan girl.

Weddings have a special place in my heart (because I LOVE love) and it is such an honor to be a part of someone’s special day. Don’t be fooled by this Scorpio’s stinger and hard shell exterior, because honestly, I’m a sentimental softie.

When I’m not painting faces, I love shopping for vintage clothes and vinyl records, practicing how to play bass and guitar (I’ve basically wanted to be Joan Jett since I was 14), painting flowers, reading, and catching some live music.

With this blog, I want to write about and review new products and share my makeup and skincare must haves. In addition to beauty, I want to share my other loves of fashion, travel, music and all things vintage.
